#1 The Boss 'n' Hug Connection

Sasha Banks & Bayley would the best option to be the first winners of the Women's Tag Team titles.
Sasha Banks & Bayley would the best option to be the first winners of the Women's Tag Team titles.

And at #1 on the list, we have none other than Sasha Banks & Bayley.

At this very moment, Banks & Bayley seem to be on the same page- which is great considering the storylines that they have had in the WWE to get to this moment. After months of Banks & Bayley not trusting each other whilst they fought and argued- it took counseling classes for the duo to make up.

And there isn't a more deserving tag team than Banks & Bayley to become the first ever Women's Tag Team Champions.

We have seen Banks win the Raw Women's Championship multiple times, but the WWE has never had faith in The Boss to have a solid, meaningful reign for the title as Charlotte Flair was constantly chosen over Banks.

As for Bayley, her main roster run had been nothing but a shambles before she officially formed The Boss 'n' Hug Connection with Banks. WWE failed to translate her NXT character onto the main roster, and it showed as Bayley's character underperformed.

Bayley's first WWE Raw Women's Championship win was a good moment, but not as great as it should've been.

And this is why Bayley & Banks deserve to be the first winners of the Women's Tag Team Championship; after the WWE Universe had constantly given up on them they still found a way to fight through all the obstacles that were thrown in their way.

Imagine the pop that they would receive for winning the titles? It would show that despite all the hardships the duo has had to face to get to this moment- it would all be worth it.
