The Iron Man Match is the ultimate test of endurance for a Superstar, as the match continues for a long time. Iron Man matches are best known as gueling 60-minute contests, but more recently WWE has shortened them to 30-minutes. The rules of an Iron Man match are simple; whichever Superstar has the most falls (pins, submissons, sometimes even disqualifications) at the end of the time specified time limit is declared the winner.

Undertaker has wrestled in just about every other type of match that WWE has put on. He's been in an Inferno Match, Buried Alive Matches, Casket Matches, Lumberjack Matches, Hell in a Cell, Falls Count Anywhere, Last Man Standing, even a "Biker Chain" match and a Boiler Room Brawl. The Phenom has pretty much done it all. While The Undertaker never competed in an Iron Man Match, he played an integral part in the Iron Man match between The Rock and Triple H at Judgement Day in 2000. The Undertaker returned to WWE after a long hiatus and attacked Triple H, then decimated the rest of DX. Given that The Undertaker is in the twilight of his career, he doesn't have the physical strength of competing in an Iron Man Match, so this is one match that we will never see from The Undertaker.
