3 things WWE can do with the newly-turned heel Shane McMahon

Very few would have thought that Shane McMahon would turn heel on the Miz at Fastlane. The Smackdown commissioner laid a ruthless assault on the Miz right in front of his father. A WrestleMania 35 encounter between the two seems to be in plans as of now.

Shane McMahon has been a face ever since returning to WWE in 2016. Perhaps he teased a heel turn every now and then. The time has now come for Shane to play a negative role after a long gap. The last time Shane was portrayed as a bad guy was in 2007.

Shane's heel turn has a lot of potential so it should not only be utilized for a feud with the Miz. McMahon can do things beyond that and make things interesting on the road to WrestleMania and even afterward.

#1 An alliance with Batista

The Animal Batista returned to WWE on Feb 25, 2019 episode of Monday Night Raw and laid a vicious attack on The Nature Boy Ric Flair. Because of the attack, Batista gained Triple H's wrath and now looks likely to take him on WrestleMania 35.

The match between The Hunter and The Animal would certainly be a nostalgic one. However, both of them have aged and the build-up needs to be top notch. As they cannot do too much in-ring work with technical brilliance the story should be compelling.

The veterans are more than capable of working a great storyline but McMahon siding with Batista would add more depth to the storyline. A frustrated McMahon joining Batista to take the living hell out of Triple H and other wrestlers under his watch would make for a compelling storyline.

Remember, Batista's attack on Ric Flair and his intent to get Triple H's attention needs more justifying. An ambitious Batista wanting to take over Monday Night Raw alongside Shane McMahon will bring new life to WWE.

#2 Form a stable with Triple H's NXT guys

Triple H introduced four NXT standouts on WWE RAW Feb 18, 2019. These four superstars have a lot of potentials to thrive in the main roster. One needs to go back and see their NXT matches. They are absolutely mind-blowing. However, WWE hasn't done much with their NXT talents on the main roster. Most of them have failed to make a lasting impact in WWE.

The Game considers these talents as his prized possession. After all, he gave them significant opportunities at NXT and he bought them into the main roster. Batista and Shane McMahon can be the plagiarists who steal Triple H's work to destroy him.

The Shield benefited a lot by being mercenaries for CM Punk during their initial days on the main roster. A new stable controlled by Batista and Shane who destroys many important babyfaces can be so much interesting. Most importantly, it would build their careers. These four can stay with each other through thick and thin and win important titles like Evolution.

#1 Takeover Monday Night Raw

Batista may not be around WWE for a long time. He cannot be expected to stay after the WrestleMania 35 match but still a hefty contract and a good storyline can impress him. After Kurt Angle, WWE needs a nostalgia act similar to him as the general manager.

Batista as the general manager under Shane McMahon would be interesting. The Animal can show extra favor for Triple H's NXT guys who are now his own mercenaries.

Triple H should put Batista over in a huge way. Shane McMahon, on the other hand, should defeat the Miz at WrestleMania and receive a nuclear heat. By some cunning tactics or match stipulation, these two need to take over Monday Night Raw.

This would make the post WrestleMania season interesting with new faces emerging to destroy the alliance of Batista, McMahon and Triple H's NXT recruits.
