#2 Got right: WWE Title opportunity for Ricochet

youtube-cover

There is no doubt that WWE has been showing the intent of pushing new Superstars. It was visible in February when the company pushed Ricochet for a WWE Championship match, his first shot at major gold. The former US Champion got the opportunity of facing Brock Lesnar in Saudi Arabia.

Ricochet was one of the graduates from NXT last year, making a notable impression on the main roster. Showing his swiftness and dexterity in the ring, Ricochet won his first championship on the main roster within a few months. After staying on RAW for a year, it's safe to say that he is an integral part of the flagship show.

Ricochet received his title shot after beating a number of top names of the Red brand. While the stakes were high for the match between Brock Lesnar and Ricochet, it certainly failed to meet the expectation in between the ropes. Lesnar took less than two minutes to dismantle The One and Only at Super ShowDown. Although Ricochet didn't give a real threat to Lesnar, it will be beneficial for the former, and he might receive more title opportunities in the future.
