Facing Roode and Gable for the RAW Tag Team Championships (again), the former NXT Tag Champions hoped that special guest referee Curt Hawkins, who is no stranger to being held down, would help them out.
Not long into the match though, the team of Dash and Dawson turned on the ref, causing the disqualification and making themselves seem like idiots.
The only positive to all of this is that it was Zack Ryder who saved Hawkins, seemingly reuniting the pair who last teamed in 2008, and host a podcast together where they discuss WWE Action Figures.
