#2 Got it wrong: More name changes

The Viking Experience now on RAW
The Viking Experience now on RAW

Man, the WWE sure do love changing Superstar names.

I'm not quite sure why, though I guess shortening a star's name does make branding easier, but it still seems like a weird thing to do, considering these stars get established in NXT under a full name.

This week on RAW it was the former War Raiders, now known as The Viking Experience, consisting of Erik (Rowe) and Ivar (Hanson), who have joined the RAW roster.

Their name change is the latest in the trend of recent years that has seen plenty of superstar names shortened, including Rusev, Ali, Andrade, Konnor, Viktor, Cesaro, Rowan, Harper, Big E, Elias, and others.

That being said, the Viking Experience is a fantastic team, the current NXT Tag Champions, and will hopefully be a breath of fresh air to the RAW tag division.
