There is no doubt Baron Corbin is running high after earning a monumental victory over Roman Reigns at TLC. Although King Corbin had help from a number of other superstars, it's axiomatic that The Big Dog was defeated. Interestingly, the former Universal Champion skipped SmackDown this week, while his current rival main-evented the show.

Corbin interrupted the opening segment between Daniel Bryan and The Miz, which, coupled with Dolph Ziggler sneaking in on the two men from behind, led to a tag team match between the four in the main event.

Corbin, Miz, and Bryan will also be facing each other in a triple threat match on SmackDown next week, with the winner receiving a title shot against The Fiend at Royal Rumble.

Since Reigns was absent from the Blue Brand this week, he is expected to show up next week and could play a major role in the triple threat match. After losing to Corbin at TLC, Reigns had a brawl with the King and some other Superstars in the backstage area, hinting at the company's attempts to further the rivalry.

If The Big Dog costs Corbin the triple threat match next week, they could have another match in the future, allowing the former an opportunity to avenge his previous two losses against the latter.
