It was a great episode of Raw

It was a great episode of Monday Night RAW this week. After delivering an action-packed episode last week, the anticipation was high this week and WWE didn't let down the fans. Since Paul Heyman is the new Executive Director of the red brand, we saw a visible effect this week.

The flagship opened with a spectacular match between Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman. The bout ended in No Contest and both men were taken to a medical facility. Maria Kanellis and Mike Kanellis faced Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a Mixed Tag Team Match but the champions picked up an easy victory. Lacey Evans defeated Natalya after a distraction from Baron Corbin.

The Undertaker delivered a fierce segment, while Nikki Cross pinned Carmella. Samoa Joe and the Viking Raiders teamed up to defeat the New Day, moreover, the 24/7 Title changed hands as Drake Maverick pinned R-Truth. Ricochet pinned AJ Styles in the main event and the latter turned heel.

It was an entertaining episode with some stupendous bouts and segments. Here we discuss three things WWE made clear on the RAW this week.

#3 Nikki Cross is likely to get a big push

Nikki Cross has been enjoying a fruitful run in the past two weeks. While Cross pinned the SmackDown Women's Champion last week, she defeated the former Women's Champion Carmella on RAW this week. Earlier, Alexa Bliss got pinned by the Princess of Staten Island but Cross managed to avenge the loss for Bliss.

After the association with Bliss, Cross has certainly given up her crazy persona. There is no denying that Cross is highly talented and she has rejuvenated her character in the last few weeks. Judging by the scenario, Cross is likely to get a deserving push.

Following the victory on RAW, Cross was asked for an interview but Bliss refused to give an interview. The company probably hinted at cracks in this friendship and the Goddess is definitely envious of Cross's recent success. Considering the track record of Alexa Bliss, she could turn on Cross soon. A betrayal could lead to an impressive rivalry between the two women.

#2 The Miz could be the first victim of the new Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt, who returned with a new gimmick, has been the highlight of RAW in last two months. Wyatt's Firefly Fun House segments have garnered the attention of the WWE Universe. The new Bray Wyatt is quite different from the old. However, he still has a dark persona, as we witnessed in the Firefly Fun House segments.

After nine episodes of Firefly House segments, it has probably ended. We did not see Firefly House segments last week or this week. Though we didn't see Firefly Fun House segments in the last two episodes of the red brand, the members were present on RAW. While Abby the Witch stalked the Miz last week, Mercy the Buzzard was seen with the A-Lister this week.

Considering two Firefly House members were seen with the Miz, the new Bray Wyatt could target the A-Lister. Hence, it will not be surprising if the Miz becomes the first victim of the new Bray Wyatt. The Miz faced Elias on the red brand this week but he is still waiting for a proper feud.

#1 Gallows and Anderson will help AJ Styles to win the US Title at Extreme Rules

AJ Styles and Ricochet locked horns in the main event of the RAW this week. Ricochet put his title on the line against the Phenomenal One. The two men delivered an astounding match last week, and it was no different this week. However, we saw a shocking incident.

The long-awaited heel turn finally happened on RAW as Styles turned on Ricochet. Though Styles showed respect to Ricochet after the match last week, the scenario was different this week. After losing, the Phenomenal One viciously attacked the United States Champion. Gallows and Anderson delivered a Magic Killer to Ricochet, and Styles hit a vicious Styles Clash from the rope.

Styles turned heel after two years and he reunited the Club. Judging by the scenario this week, Styles will challenge Ricochet at Extreme Rules. Since Styles has Gallows and Anderson as backup, Ricochet will have a mountain to climb. With the help of Gallows and Anderson, Styles is likely to become a three-time US Champion at Extreme Rules.
