Bayley has not lost her love for Sasha Banks. It seems that The Boss 'n' Hug Connection is still very strong. Vince hasn't ruled out the possibility of another tag team stint for Bayley and Banks by making this move.

The only points of speculation in this story line are the delay in Bayley's heel turn, and the fact that she waited until Lynch returned. Baring these two aspects, not many in the WWE Universe would have minded the collaboration between The Boss and The Huggable One.

One thing that WWE made clear was the fact that this team is still going strong and both of them mean business.

#1 Bayley's heel turn was done in order to shake the entire Women's Division on SmackDown

Nobody really imagined seeing Bayley as a heel

Since Bayley won the SmackDown Women's Championship from Becky Lynch, things have been really bland on the blue brand as far as the Women's division is concerned. There haven't been many challengers for The Huggable One other than Ember Moon and Charlotte.

What this Bayley heel turn does is that it opens up space for a possible babyface to stand up and be considered for contention. This changes things drastically on the blue brand. Over the next few weeks on SmackDown, we might enjoy the Women's matches more than we have done in months.

Where this story line eventually leads will be interesting to see. Right now, it seems like The Boss and The Huggable One are ruling the Women's division.
