You'd be forgiven for not knowing this, but there's a regulation in-place in the WWE, it states that main roster champions must defend their titles every 30 days or they'll be forced to drop the championship belt. This is one rule which clearly does not apply to Brock Lesnar.

It has been one of the most frustrating decisions the WWE has taken in recent times, but Lesnar has somehow managed to get his way by defending the title only a few times each year.

Lesnar defends the title so rarely that superstars have been injured and returned in less time than the gap between his title defenses. Finn Balor would be wishing this rule applied to him when he got injured.

This rule is one of the biggest exceptions the WWE has ever made regarding a superstar, and it has seen their viewership ratings plummet in recent months.

If it were any other superstar - he would have been stripped of the belt a long time ago. Kurt Angle teased stripping Lesnar of the title on an episode of Monday Night Raw, but let's be honest, every WWE fan knows there is no way Lesnar will ever be stripped of the title. If the WWE had any intention of doing that, it would have been done a long time ago.
