CM Punk was a record- time WWE Championship holder, and when The Rock got a Championship opportunity, it was up to The Brahma Bull to end Punk’s reign. At Royal Rumble 2013, John Cena won the 30-man Royal Rumble to secure his position at that year’s WrestleMania and on the same night, The Rock put an end to CM Punk’s 434-day hold on the WWE Championship. Of course, a Cena vs. Rock II program was in the making and with the Championship on the line, so it got more exciting.

Punk would get his title shot at the next pay-per-view, Elimination Chamber, but The Rock defended his title successfully. At WrestleMania 29, Cena would seal the victory with an Attitude Adjustment to The Brahma Bull to secure his 15th WWE Championship.
