Apparently - and this could obviously not be true - it is rumoured that when Lashley signed on with the WWE, that it was with the understanding that all roads lead to Brock Lesnar.

I mean who doesn't want to see that fight right?

Both Lesnar and Lashley are legitimate mixed martial artists and they're both absolute powerhouses inside the ring.

And it makes all the more sense to match them up now that Lesnar has practically laid waste to the entire WWE roster, including the man billed as the last bastion of hope to relieve the Beast of the WWE Universal Title, Roman Reigns.

So instead of having a screwy finish to the Reigns - Lesnar match at GRR, the WWE could just have had Lesnar go over cleanly and Bobby Lashley make his debut to confront him after the match.
