#1 Feud against Bayley
The potential this has is tremendous. For starters, it will keep Charlotte Flair out of the title picture for a while. Secondly, these two have a history – a championship history that extends into their time in NXT – and a feud between them would feel personal.
The best feuds are always the ones that feel personal – just look at the NXT storyline between Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. Banks could at first come out to help Bayley, only to turn on her because Bayley was not there for her.
A heel with a legitimate reason behind their actions is the best kind of heel. Banks could accuse Bayley of not supporting her during her stand-off against the WWE. She could also add that Bayley deserted her after they both initially raised their issues together.
There are so many ways they could play this out - Banks could win the SmackDown Women’s Title, after which Bayley could chase the title, claiming that she was the one who set Banks up, and now Banks is using their association to further her career.
Whichever way it goes, Banks and Bayler will give their all in the ring, and the story is already there, so the chances of WWE ruining this are minimal.
