Ricochet and AJ Styles had a stupendous battle at Extreme Rules. The two high flyers brought the best out each other and the Phenomenal One was victorious. It was not the first title defense of Ricochet as he defended it on RAW against the same opponent. After losing the Title match to Ricochet, Styles turned heel and he decimated the former NXT North American Champion.

The rivalry has certainly become interesting and WWE could extend the feud till SummerSlam. While Styles grabbed his third United States Championship, it wasn't a fair match. When Gallows and Anderson got involved in the match, Styles took advantage of the distraction. Since Gallows and Anderson are friends of Styles, Ricochet also needs some back-ups to regain the title.

The Viking Raiders faced Gallows and Anderson a couple of weeks ago on RAW and they could be excellent back-ups of Ricochet. Considering the Viking Raiders are not part of the RAW Tag Team Championship picture, they could be used well in the US Title picture.
