#2 Tommaso Ciampa vs. Kurt Angle

Waving goodbye to a career.
Waving goodbye to a career.

Rumors are swirling that Kurt Angle is going to have his retirement match at WrestleMania 35.

There are generally two ways to do these things. You can either have a heartfelt, respectful affair, as we saw with Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair at WrestleMania 24, or you can use the opportunity to give somebody a rub.

When it comes to retiring a legend like Angle, WWE has an opportunity to give someone a rub, but it shouldn't be just anybody. It could be used as an opportunity to establish someone who could be the most hated heel on the main roster for years to come.

Enter Tommaso Ciampa.

He's likely going to lose "goldie" at TakeOver, which would put him in an even fouler mood. Ciampa could terrorize and taunt Angle, telling the old man it's time to go home so the spotlight can go on the Greatest Sports Entertainer of All Time.

The thunderous boos Ciampa would receive in such a match from a football stadium full of people is an entertaining thought all on its own.

For a company obsessed with heat and supposedly looking to build a new star, this would be a no brainer.

Ciampa would get an instant rub that would establish him as one of the most hated and dangerous people on the main roster, a great antagonist to the likes of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and AJ Styles.
