Turning Becky Lynch heel instead of Charlotte Flair surprised many. Becky was one of the most 'over' wrestlers right now and turning her heel didn't change anything as people still cheer her instead of Charlotte. Charlotte had done wonders when she was heel before and she can create the same magic again.
If the WWE continues to push her as a babyface, she will basically become the next Roman Reigns and we all know how that turns out. Vince still has time to learn from his past mistakes. Right now, people are booing her. So, it makes sense to turn her heel in this feud against Becky. This way fans will get what they want and people will be generally invested in their feud.
