The long-term storyline between The Hurt Business and Ricochet came to an end on the second night of the 2020 WWE Draft.

One wrong move ruined his entire WWE career - Watch Now!

Over the last few months, MVP has repeatedly tried to convince four WWE Superstars – Apollo Crews, Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali, and Ricochet – to join his villainous faction, which originally consisted of himself, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin.

After successfully persuading Alexander to join, MVP had one last opportunity to recruit Ricochet on this week’s episode of WWE RAW.

Ricochet faced Alexander in a one-on-one match with high stakes. If Ricochet won, The Hurt Business had to leave him alone. If he lost, The One and Only would have to join The Hurt Business.

As it turned out, the former WWE United States Champion won the match after he used an old Eddie Guerrero trick to get Alexander disqualified.

With the referee down, Ricochet hit the ring canvas with a steel chair before throwing the chair into the hands of Alexander. The referee then awarded the win to Ricochet after being fooled into believing that Alexander used the chair.

The Hurt Business and Ricochet are still on WWE RAW following the 2020 WWE Draft, which means their paths could potentially cross again. However, if WWE sticks to the stipulation of this week’s match, a possible alliance should be out of the question.
