The Stinger has said he would return to the ring to face The Undertaker one time

When Sting announced his retirement at the WWE Hall of Fame 2016, it came as a blow to many fans.

Just a few months prior, the Stinger had competed for the WWE Championship against Seth Rollins, and though fans knew he was hurt, no-one expected the injury suffered to be this bad.

Since then, Sting has stayed away from the ring, but has said he would come back, but for one special opponent: The Undertaker.

Last week, fans speculated that a match between the two could be in the works, and though the vague social media post put out by WWE ended up being the pilot of their new what-if series of videos, it's clear that many people, including the Stinger himself, want a match against the Phenom to happen.
