#2 Hope isn't true: Lesnar retains the gold at WrestleMania
When the WWE unveiled the Universal Championship at SummerSlam 2016, many fans said the title was gaudy and ugly.
Those fans must, therefore, be thrilled nowadays, as the title is rarely seen on WWE programming, thanks to Brock Lesnar.
After an incredible 504-day reign, Lesnar was defeated at SummerSlam last year but regained the gold at Crown Jewel.
Now scheduled to face Seth Rollins for the title at WrestleMania, having David slaughter the colossal Goliath makes perfect sense.
With that said though, it made just as much sense for Roman Reigns to defeat Lesnar at last year's event, and we all saw how that panned out.
Lesnar's contract is constantly shrouded in mystery according to Dave Meltzer, and it could be that the WWE has already agreed on the Beast retaining.
