#1 Finn Balor
There is a huge possibility Finn Balor will shine next year. Balor had an awe-inspiring match against Drew McIntyre at TLC 2018, and he won the match after Dolph Ziggler interfered. As a matter of fact, Balor also won a triple threat match against McIntyre and Ziggler on Raw. It has certainly given him momentum, and he might get a big push in 2019.
Balor is one of the best in-ring performers in WWE, and he had massive popularity in Japan. WWE signed Balor in 2014, and he had a flying start to his WWE career. Balor became the NXT Champion, and he had some memorable feuds in NXT. Balor was the longest reigning NXT Champion, and he held the title for 292 days.
Balor made his main roster debut in 2016, and he became the first ever Universal Champion. However, he had to relinquish the title due to an injury. He has not been in the title picture for over two years.
Balor is undoubtedly exceptional in the squared circle, and he could be a top guy in the company. It will be interesting to see if he manages to win the Royal Rumble next year. He could move to SmackDown Live, and challenge the WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan, at WrestleMania 35.
