Triple H
Triple H and Roman Reigns crossed paths when The Shield turned face in 2014 and The Game had to reform Evolution to take down The Hounds of Justice. It goes without saying that Evolution is one of the greatest factions in the history of WWE, but the trio failed gloriously against Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins.

The Shield beat Evolution on two occasions, but Rollins later joined hands with Triple H. Reigns went his own way and was pushed to the moon over the next few years.
Roman Reigns' push included a big win against Triple H in the main event of WrestleMania 32. Triple H had won the Royal Rumble match a few months earlier and had bagged the WWE title as per the stipulation. Reigns left WrestleMania with his head held high, and didn't face Triple H for more than a year. In late 2017, Reigns took on Triple H at a WWE live event.
This time around as well, The Big Dog defeated The Game, retaining his Intercontinental title in the process.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
