While speaking with Hindustan Times, Big Show once revealed that although he liked wrestling while growing up, he had no intention of becoming a professional wrestler and join WWE/WCW.
"It is funny because my plan originally was to become a basketball player. However, I always loved two things while growing up — basketball and wrestling. As a youth I didn't even consider being a professional wrestler or a sports entertainer."

Big Show did incredibly well in WWE
Big Show did very well as a WWE Superstar, and won multiple World titles during his stint in the company. He was always presented as an unstoppable monster on WWE TV, and mostly portrayed the role of a villain. Big Show hasn't been on WWE TV for a while, and it's safe to say that his time as a full-time wrestler has come to an end.

He has interviewed prominent pro wrestling personalities like Noam Dar, Angry Miz Girl, Brendan Cobbina, and Jesse Lambert. Abhilash is a big fan of AEW star Orange Cassidy, as he believes the former International Champion’s on-screen gimmick of an extremely lazy guy resonates with him.
Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
When not reporting on pro wrestling, Abhilash likes to work out, go on walks, read, and explore new eateries.
