#2 Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre could be a perfect candidate to dethrone Brock Lesnar. McIntyre's second WWE run has been magnificent, and he has attained plenty of success. McIntyre has main-evented Raw a couple of times in the last few months, and he is surely a top superstar in the company now.
McIntyre made his WWE debut in 2007, and he stayed in the company for seven years. However, his first run was not impressive. He was also part of the wrestling stable called 3MB. Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater were also part of the group. Afterwards, McIntyre left the company and made his name in the independent circuit.
He made his WWE return in 2017, and became the NXT Champion. He had some notable matches against Roderick Strong and Andrade 'Cien' Almas. He has also won the Raw tag team titles on the main roster.
He is well built, and he is an astonishing performer in the squared circle. The Scottish Psychopath is certainly suited to become the next Universal Champion.
