A lot has happened in WWE lately. From 'The Boss' Sasha Banks returning as a heel, to the return of the King of the Ring tournament, WWE is leaving no stone unturned in a bid to keep the fans hooked on its programming.

Also, the duo of Braun Strowman and the current Universal Champion, Seth Rollins, are the new Raw Tag Team Champions, and The Fiend has been attacking WWE legends then apologizing to them on social media. Things have certainly become somewhat less predictable, especially on the red brand, ever since Paul Heyman took a creative role.

On another note, there is no denying the fact that WWE is all about good vs evil, hero vs villain, babyface vs heel. Even though superstars keep changing their roles, the theme remains constant.

The Boss turned heel upon her return two weeks ago, and WWE creative has been laying the breadcrumbs for a few other heel/face turns in the past few weeks.

In this article, we discuss potential turns. Without further ado, here are 3 WWE Superstars who could turn heel or face in the coming days.

#3 Face: Samoa Joe

Joe could become a babyface soon
Joe could become a babyface soon

When Samoa Joe checked on Roman Reigns after the latter was ambushed in the parking lot by the mystery attacker a few weeks ago, it was speculated that the heavyweight had finally turned face. However, it was not meant to be as Joe turned on the crowd after defeating Sami Zayn the following night.

Nonetheless, rumor has it that the plan is to turn the Samoan Submission Machine into a babyface in the coming days.

While a face turn for the Samoan is overdue, I feel the heel persona brings out the best in him. For example, his work against Brock Lesnar is truly unparalleled. Had creative not undermined him, he could easily have become the top heel of the company.

#2 Heel: Natalya

It looks totally on the cards
It looks totally on the cards

Natalya was portrayed as a heel during her recent feud with Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Championship. However, she turned face after getting attacked twice in two weeks by The Boss, Sasha Banks.

Nonetheless, a heel turn could be on the cards for "The Queen of Hearts" in the coming weeks.

After attacking Natalya during a backstage interview this week on Raw, Banks went on to disrespect Natalya's father. The Queen of Hearts then took to Twitter, reacting to Banks' actions by posting a single word - "Disgusted".

It seems WWE could be including Natalya in the Banks vs Lynch feud in some capacity. Given she is working a scripted injury angle, creative could include her as the special guest referee for the highly anticipated match between Lynch and Banks at Clash of Champions.

Natalya could then turn on Lynch to cost her the Raw Women's Championship, laying the breadcrumbs for a future feud.

This could act as an apt explanation for Lynch's loss, given the speculations of a potential win for Banks on September 15. A title run could be one of the perks Vince may have promised Banks after her meltdown.

#1 Heel: Braun Strowman

It would certainly spice things up
It would certainly spice things up

The duo of the current Universal Champion, Seth Rollins, and 'The Monster Among Men' Braun Strowman, defeated The OC to become the new Raw Tag Team Champions this week. However, cracks in the partnership soon emerged as the duo exchanged looks when Strowman held onto the Universal title as they celebrated.

Given the recent turn of events, things are bound to become chaotic in this partnership, because Strowman has his sights on the Universal title.

WWE could have their differences cost them the tag team titles, resulting in an infuriated Strowman beating up Rollins. While there are numerous possibilities, WWE has surely spiced things up by crowning the duo as the new tag team champs.

Strowman turning on Rollins would lay the breadcrumbs for an intense and lengthy feud between the duo shortly.
