Looking back at the 1999 Royal Rumble match, it was amazing to see the crowd reaction Kane got when he entered. It was one of the biggest pops anyone would get on their best day. He was a viable threat, and he was an unstoppable monster who could take anyone out at any time. That was 19 years ago.

The fact is that Kane while still capable of having a passable match, has already become a nostalgia act. For reasons that I don’t understand to this day, he was booked in a main event feud with Seth Rollins where he used the split personality gimmick.

It was entertaining, but to think that he even had a minor chance in putting away Rollins would be stupid. It didn't look like Rollins’ title was in jeopardy, it was not possible to suspend your disbelief long enough to buy into that feud.

With the recent happenings in the WWE, I would suggest a match with The Undertaker one more time at WrestleMania, and both guys should call it a career at The Grandest Stage Of Them All.
