32-year-old WWE Superstar could return to SmackDown for the first time in almost a year to partner Raquel Rodriguez

Raquel Rodriguez will need a partner this week on WWE SmackDown when she takes on Damage CTRL. Liv Morgan's recent injury appears to be much worse than first believed, which resulted in the two women being forced to relinquish the Women's Tag Team Championships.

The titles will be on the line next week on RAW, and Raquel Rodriguez will need someone she can trust by her side. There are several women in the locker room who would be open to working with Raquel, one of whom could be Piper Niven.

While she has recently been appearing as a heel, she hasn't appeared on SmackDown since the summer of 2022. Niven was also drafted over to RAW in the recent WWE Draft, but so was Raquel Rodriguez, and if the duo can win the titles on Monday Night RAW, then they will be able to appear on any WWE brand.

Piper Niven has been underutilized in WWE in recent months

Piper Niven has been relegated to appearing on Main Event instead of the main shows in recent months and would love to be called up to be part of a meaningful storyline on either RAW or SmackDown.

It's unclear how long Liv Morgan will be out of action with her current injury, but it could be lengthy if she isn't able to take her Championship with her, and if Niven steps in, then she could lift the Women's Tag Team titles and be part of a push on SmackDown.

Niven hasn't had a good storyline since she was partnered with Eva Marie, and deserves the boost of partnering Raquel Rodriguez on SmackDown.
