#18 A McMahon never changes his spots

There are only two outcomes for Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan vs Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania, either Shane and Bryan win and finally, vanquish Zayn and Owens from SmackDown Live. Or Owens and Zayn get extra heat by defeating Bryan and Shane.
But neither of those outcomes benefit these wrestlers going forward. As a bigger story needs to come out of this match and that is Shane McMahon shockingly turn on Bryan.

While that move will take many in the WWE Universe by surprise, the return of Bryan suggests that he needs a huge story in 2018.
Analyzing the character of Bryan, and his transition into the hottest babyface in all of wrestling, that was only possible due to the force that opposed him and always kept pushing him down until the WWE Universe picked him and launch him through the glass ceiling and the into the stratosphere.
WWE needs to give Bryan that challenge again and by having Shane shockingly side with Zayn and Owens to mercilessly beat down Bryan, that will light a fire under the WWE Universe to support Bryan once again.
This will also allow Zayn and Owens to partner with McMahon thus allowing them to have a storyline for 2018. This decision benefits all competitors involved and gives Bryan an opportunity to do what he does best and that to fight from underneath.
