'The Goddess', Alexa Bliss, announced that she was competing in the 2019 women's Royal Rumble match this past week on Monday Night RAW. The announcement was rather unexpected, as Alexa Bliss has not competed for a while due to medical reasons. However, judging by the ovation her announcement received, most fans (including me), are very excited to see 'Five Feet of Fury' back in a WWE ring. This will be her Royal Rumble debut.

Alexa Bliss' WWE rise has been meteoric. She was called up from the WWE's developmental brand, NXT during the start of the brand split. There was absolutely no buzz about her.

Alexa Bliss has proven everybody wrong and is now one of the most recognizable superstars in all of the WWE. She is a five-time WWE Women's Champion. Both of her WrestleMania matches have seen her walk in as the reigning, defending champion. She also walked into the last two editions of WWE SummerSlam, the second biggest event of the year, as the reigning, defending champion. She won the first-ever women's Elimination Chamber match, retaining her RAW Women's Championship. She is a former Money in the Bank winner.

She has been a featured part of every show she has been on. She was given prominent storylines even when she could not compete. She has her own talk show, 'A Moment of Bliss'.

Alexa Bliss is one of the biggest superstars in the WWE's women's division. She will add a great deal of star-power as part of the final four. Moreover, she is making a comeback, and making it to the final four will only add to that story.
