4 Biggest WWE Superstars who should not be identified as Roman Reigns' mystery attacker

Keep them away
Keep them away

In what is surely turning out to be one of the most intriguing stories on the main roster, let alone SmackDown Live, Roman Reigns is yet to find out the identity of his extremely calculative mystery attacker.

Though Samoa Joe, Drew Mcintyre, and Elias have all come out clean during the ongoing investigation, it's Daniel Bryan and Rowan who are yet to be given a clean chit.

One cannot deny that Bryan's involvement in this narrative could do wonders for Reigns as a babyface, but the gradual translation of this feud on-screen is suggesting us that there could be something more to the story than meets the eye.

After Buddy Murphy was coerced to admit that he lied about Rowan's possible involvement in this narrative, Bryan and Rowan are now vowing to deface the identity of the mystery attacker next week on SmackDown Live.

Whilst legions in the WWE Universe are expecting Luke Harper to re-introduce himself to the world, there are still a lot of superstars who could take this opportunity and knock the Big Dog off his perch.

Considering that the creative team need to be very calculative in proceeding this storyline, here are 5 WWE Superstars we hope are not identified as Reigns' mystery attacker.

#1 Baron Corbin

Stay away, Corbin
Stay away, Corbin

Despite having a 'go away' heat on the main roster, Baron Corbin is one individual that needs to stay away from the main event scene for some time.

The Lone Wolf was one of the most heavily pushed Superstars on Monday Night Raw in 2018, and if he's somehow identified as the mystery man behind it all, things are going to get worse.

It's understandable that he's an incredible performer between the ropes and Vince McMahon does find money in what he brings to the table.

However, the audiences haven't been invested in his feuds and if he indeed does turn up as the mystery attacker, it would only harm Roman Reigns and his current babyface run.

#2 The Fiend

Save this for WrestleMania
Save this for WrestleMania

Whilst many of us would want to see Bray Wyatt's new shtick as the Fiend to propel to unimaginable heights on the main roster, the company must do everything in their power to protect him.

One of the biggest mistakes the creative made with Wyatt was the overexposure of his character, which eventually derailed his momentum on the main roster.

Even if The Fiend could be one of the greatest characters this company has ever brought to life, this sadistic side of Bray Wyatt must be kept far, far away from Roman Reigns.

The two have clashed multiple times inside the squared circle and whilst Wyatt attacking Reigns could lead to something fruitful, the two need to work on different brands before eventually slugging it out in a top-tier WrestleMania calibre showdown.

Wyatt needs to be booked as the most destructive force on the main roster and even if he could be the one doing it all, there's no way the company would book Reigns to lose this feud.

#3 Shane McMahon

This should not happen
This should not happen

With SmackDown Live heading into Fox Sports in October, WWE will certainly do whatever it takes to gather the audience's attention. Considering that the ratings are beginning to show some signs of improvement, the company needs to build on the progress and walk in the same direction.

However, Shane McMahon's heavy involvement on the Blue Brand has irked many fans the wrong way, and if continued, things could get more troublesome.

Despite the differences he shares with Roman Reigns, we just hope that there's no McMahon involved in all of this.

The Big Dog needs some fresh feuds on the main roster and if the company still sticks with Roman vs the Authority, they will lost the audience's investment in no time flat.

Even if the creative step up a notch with this storyline, there's no way the fans would want to see Roman fight the odds against him and eventually emerge supreme, especially against a top heel like Shane O'Mac.

#4 Aleister Black

Is he knocking on Roman's door?
Is he knocking on Roman's door?

Aleister Black is undoubtedly one of the most talented performers to ever grace the squared circle. The former NXT Champion has impressed on the main roster, with the likes of Cesaro and Sami Zayn falling down to Black's offensive style of wrestling.

Even if he's booked like an unstoppable machine, the Dutch Destroyer is yet to have a proper feud on SmackDown Live.

With many Superstars waiting for an opportunity backstage, Black taking the fight to the company's biggest star seems pretty promising on paper.

Both the Superstars could engage in slugfests and give us some quality-driven bouts. However, this is not the right time for the creative team to put Black as the main antagonist on SmackDown Live.

Since the company would be wanting to bring someone as unexpected as Black to the fray, losing to the Big Dog may not fair well for him, even if he's presented strongly.
