Shinsuke Nakamura urgently needs a credible opponent to challenge for his United States Championship. However, who fits that image? On the blue brand, there are many wrestlers deserving direction. However, one person tops that list, and that is Andrade Cien Almas. The former NXT Champion debuted on SmackDown earlier this year and has been brilliant.
Nakamura has beaten back challenged from; Rusev, Jeff Hardy, and Tye Dillinger. Moreover, Almas has been collecting victories like trophies. Ultimately both deserve WWE Championship opportunities. However, working together would be extremely beneficial. Firstly, it builds their respective characters, and secondly, the championship.
Presently Nakamura has been defending his championship in an almost 'Open challenge' mindset. However, if WWE were to pair these wrestlers together, it could be awesome. Almas is similar to former WWE star Alberto Del Rio, with an excellent heel character. Whereas, Nakamura's current portrayal of a heel has been uneventful.
