The women's revolution started a couple of years ago on the main roster. However, it began in NXT. Charlotte Flair is arguably one of the greatest women to grace the WWE ring. The Queen has an exceptional track record on the main roster, but she was equally good in NXT. Prior to NXT, Charlotte didn't have experience in the squared circle. Due to her remarkable athleticism, Charlotte picked it up quickly and she became a leading performer of the black and gold brand.

The Queen had rivalries with Paige, Bayley, Sasha Banks and many more. Charlotte is a nine-time Women's Champion on the main roster, but she also grabbed the NXT Women's Championship once. She won the most coveted women's prize of the developmental brand by winning an Eight-Woman tournament. Charlotte was a fighting champion as she held the title for 258 days.

The current SmackDown Women's Champion was one of the leading names of NXT. Before signing for NXT, the Hugger had experience in the independent circuit. Bayley signed for NXT in 2012 and quickly climbed the top of the ladder.

Due to her dexterity in the squared circle, Bayley was a favourite Superstar of the NXT Universe. She failed to grab the NXT Women's Title after several attempts. The current SmackDown Women's Champion had great feuds with Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Emma and many more.

Bayley won the NXT Women's Title after beating Sasha Banks at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. The two women subsequently fought in the first-ever Women's 30-Minute Iron Man match in WWE history. The match was voted the NXT Match of the Year and Bayley won the NXT Female Competitor of the Year award in 2015. Her impressive title reign lasted 223 days before losing the belt to Asuka.

There is no denying that Shayna Baszler is one of the most dominating women in the history of NXT.She is the current NXT Women's Champion and the only woman to hold the belt twice. Considering Baszler's tenure in the developmental brand, she certainly has a bright future on the main roster.

Similar to Ronda Rousey, Baszler has an MMA background. The former UFC fighter switched to Pro-Wrestling in 2015. However, NXT signed Baszler in 2017. After participating in the Mae Young Classic, she took NXT by storm when she signed for the developmental brand. Bazler delivered awe-inspiring matches with Ember Moon, Kairi Sane, Nikki Cross and many more.

Baszler won her maiden NXT Women's Championship against Ember Moon. The title reign lasted 133 days before she lost to Kairi Sane. It didn't take long to regain the belt as she defeated the Pirate Princess at Evolution. Since becoming a two-time NXT Women's Champion, Baszler has been an impressive champion and she is expected to hold the belt for a long time.

Asuka is probably the greatest Women's Champion of NXT and she is number one in this list. The Empress of Tomorrow is currently part of SmackDown Live but she has not been on TV for last few weeks. Following WrestleMania this year, Asuka teamed up with Kairi Sane to make a new tag team. The Japanese duo might chase the Women's Tag Team Titles in future.

Asuka was a titanic name before she signed for NXT. She had eleven years of experience before landing in WWE. Due to her popularity in Japan, she was a force to be reckoned with in NXT, and it didn't take her long to become a leading name of the black and gold brand. During Asuka's tenure in NXT, she had remarkable matches with Ember Moon, Bayley, Nikki Cross and many more.

Asuka was the longest reigning NXT Women's Champion, as she was undefeated. The former NXT Women's Champion didn't lose the belt and she had to relinquish the title before moving to the main roster. She surpassed Goldberg's winning streak when she was part of NXT. Apart from winning the NXT Women's Championship, she also won the NXT Female Competitor of the Year award twice.
