Impact Wrestling, formerly known as TNA was considered by many as the next WCW. But due to poor management and multiple wasted opportunities, it has now been reduced to a shadow of its former self.

With a number of Impact Superstars jumping ship to WWE over the past year including big names like Bobby Roode, EC3, Eric Young and now allegedly Bobby Lashley, let us take a look at 4 Superstars who would also benefit from joining WWE.

#4 Eddie Edwards

Eddie Edwards

Eddie Edwards is one of the top athletes in the world today and has been a cornerstone of Impact Wrestling ever since he joined the company in 2014. Edwards is a former multi-time Tag Team Champion along with his long-time partner Davey Richards. He has also won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship once.

The former Champion is a perfect fit for WWE as he is a perfect blend of experience and athleticism. Edwards would be a great get for the 205 division and would help elevate the product to new heights.

Although he had a brief stint with WWE in 2013, nothing materialized so we can only hope that the next time he comes to WWE, his potential will be utilized to the fullest.

#3 Brian Cage

Brian Cage

Brian Cage has been in the Wrestling business since 2004 and has also worked for WWE under the FCW banner where he was signed in 2008. However, he was released from his contract in mid-September.

Although a favourite amongst indie fans, Cage made his mark during his time with the up and coming promotion Lucha Underground where he portrayed the role of an unstoppable machine really well.

Cage signed a deal with Impact Wrestling in January this year and made his official debut on the February 15th episode of the show.

Brian Cage has the build and charisma to make it big in WWE, as feuds with guys like Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin would be a treat to watch.

#2 Johny Mundo

Johny Muno, formerly known as John Morrison was a part of the WWE from 2002-2011 where he managed to make quite a name for himself, not just as a Tag Team specialist but also a singles Superstar. He won the Tag Team titles on multiple occasions and also is a former Intercontinental and ECW Champion with the company.

Mundo, has achieved great success after leaving WWE, wrestling for promotions such as AAA, Lucha Underground and now Impact Wrestling.

Accused by many of being bland, Johny has worked on his mic skills and is one of the most disliked heels in Lucha Underground.

He will be a perfect addition to the WWE roster and can go on to further solidify the mid-card division.

#1 Eli Drake

Eli Drake

When talking about the best mic workers in the business as of today, it would be unfair to leave out this Superstar from the conversation. Touted by many as the next Miz, Eli has all the potential to strike it big in WWE.

Eli Drake is a former Impact Wrestling Champion and is currently embroiled in a rivalry with current Champion Austin Aries.

Eli is one Superstar who has time and again delivered in his promos and has come up with a variety of catchphrases loved by the Impact fans. If given the right opportunities, his great talking abilities can be utilized by WWE.

Promos between Eli and the likes of John Cena or The Miz would be highly entertaining and I am sure that Drake will hold his own against all the great talkers of WWE.
