We all know what happened when CM Punk featured in the infamous 'pipebomb' promo which was loosely scripted. In spite of being a heel, fans very easily connected with his character, and it launched his career in the main event scene, and made him the megastar he is.

The recent case with Roman Reigns is also no different. One must notice how fans failed to connect with him for the past couple of years, and booed him heavily during his promos, however, when he featured with the unscripted lines to announce his departure due to leukemia, fans connected and cheered him.

Thus, giving the superstar just a basic idea, and a few guidelines for a promo should be one of the major changes Vince should make in this new era.
