When WWE decided to bring Finn Balor up to the main roster back in 2016, it really looked like they were going to make him into their next big main event superstar, however a significant injury derailed The Demon King's push, and he's been terribly underutilized ever since.

As previously mentioned in the AJ Styles entry, if WWE moved AJ to Raw, then a top spot would open up on SmackDown Live, which could be filled by Daniel Bryan. Or, if WWE essentially trades Styles for Balor, then Balor could be the new face of the company's blue brand.

Also, a move to SmackDown would give Balor an opportunity to once again reunite with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, so they can actually do a proper Balor Club storyline, and not have it forgotten about like it was earlier in the year.
