Bianca Belair, Kairi Sane, and Io Shirai will all be challenging Shayna Baszler for the NXT Women's Championship in a fatal four-way match at NXT Takeover: New York. Bianca Belair has been frustrated about the fact that both Io Shirai and Kairi Sane are being given an opportunity that she believed belonged to her and only her.

She vented these frustrations to Kairi Sane and Io Shirai last week on NXT and Bianca Belair will now face off against Kairi Sane this week on NXT. The winner of this match will gain momentum heading into NXT Takeover: New York. While Kairi Sane defeated Bianca Belair in the Mae Young Classic in 2017, Bianca Belair has truly grown as a performer since then and will provide a different test for Kairi Sane.
