With the WWE newest Wild Card rule the brand split is starting to lose its prominence. Maybe WWE’s ploy is to do a natural ending of the brand split and could plan title unification matches for the major men’s & women’s titles at Survivor Series.

Having only one primary champion for both the men's & women's division will not make either brand superior to the other. WWE will look to take the B Show status away from SmackDown Live from this October, and the title unification makes more sense.

Having Lesnar as either the WWE or Universal Champion when the company gets to that point will certainly help the company to maintain the status of both brands after the blue brand's transition.
