#3 A nod to his run under the mask?

I don't know if you remember this, but there was a period of time in WWE when CM Punk wrestled under a mask. This was to hide the fact that he'd lost his hair after a match with Rey Mysterio. And this could be a little nod to his many fans who remember the time that he actually sported the mask.

CM Punk is one of the more intelligent men in wrestling and as we saw from a recent post of his where he recalled working with Eddie Guerrero, he cherishes his time in WWE, despite all the bitterness that it entailed. In fact, I'd say that he recognises the fact that he got to be where he is, thanks to this WWE run.

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that he was a far better wrestler than he is an MMA fighter.
