#2 Bayley's not so great history as the Women's Champion

Back in 2017, Bayley became the recipient of a gigantic push as she became the new Raw Women's Champion. The crowd really got behind Bayley and it seemed like the adorable superstar will enjoy a stellar reign.

Her time as the Raw Women's Champion exposed her limits and highlighted her lack of mic skills which eventually led to her dropping the title to Alexa Bliss who thrived as the Raw Women's Champion.

While Bayley is undoubtedly a supreme performer who belongs to the elite bracket, being a champion within the company takes much much more than in-ring prowess. Bayley's not so great reign was the reason why she never became the Women's champion again until the recently concluded Money in the Bank PPV where she won the briefcase and cashed in on the same night to become the Smackdown Women's Champion.

WWE may have taken a risk here by making Bayley the new champion.
