This week on WWE Raw, "The Boss" Sasha Banks, who made her long-awaited return to TV two weeks ago after a four-month hiatus from the company, cut a "shoot" style promo and revealed why she has been attacking talents like Natalya and Becky Lynch, her former "friends" in WWE.

Of note, Banks appeared to "corroborate" internet rumors and speculation that she was unhappy with her WrestleMania 35 booking, however, Banks adding her own "truth" during the promo.

Following WrestleMania this year, it was reported that Banks was upset with WWE's decision to take the Women's Tag Team titles off her and Bayley after they had been given very little time to build the titles up as credible championships in a budding Women's tag team division in WWE.

On Raw this week, Banks admitted she did in fact "take her ball" and go home after WrestleMania, but she did it because she was "relegated" to a tag title match she cared nothing about.

Following Raw this week, let's take a look at 4 reasons why this week's Sasha Banks promo was a big mistake.

#4 The promo was not delivered well

The general consensus amongst wrestling fans and pundits is that Sasha Banks works much better as a heel than a babyface, and it has been refreshing to see a new version of The Boss since she has returned to WWE TV.

Banks as the smiley-faced Bayley best friend quickly ran its course on TV, and fans always expected Banks to turn on Bayley, which never happened.

Despite Banks working better as a heel in WWE, her promo on Raw this week, which was intended to sound somewhat like a "shoot", was anything but. It felt overly scripted and forced, and while it has been great to see a more physically aggressive Banks since she turned heel, the promo this week was not amongst her best.

#3 The promo buried the WWE Women's tag team division

Sasha Banks' shoot on Raw this week was oddly ironic, as reports indicated following WrestleMania 35 that Banks chose to step away from WWE TV as she was unhappy with her booking at the big PPV.

Banks was most notable unhappy with WWE's decision to take the titles off Banks and Bayley as the duo was in the middle of working hard to build the women's tag team division in WWE and lend credibility to new championships which were in need of hype.

However, in her promo on Raw this week, Banks said she was upset that she was "relegated" to a tag team match at WrestleMania 35 and a title defense that she "didn't care about."

With WWE trying hard to reestablish credibility to Women's tag team titles that were sorely misused while they were held by The IIconics, having Sasha Banks come out on Raw this week and bury the titles and the match at WrestleMania was a bad idea.

#2 The promo buried being on the WrestleMania card

WrestleMania is hyped every year as a PPV talents dream of appearing on from the time they became wrestling fans as children.

But this week on Raw, Sasha Banks basically told the WWE Universe that her appearance at WrestleMania this year meant absolutely nothing to her. Not only was Banks involved in a match at WrestleMania 35, she was involved in a title match, and burying the bout on live television could be damaging to the WrestleMania brand.

There were many other directions in which Sasha Banks could have gone with her promo this week, including placing all of the blame for the WrestleMania 35 match loss on Bayley. Banks could have said she chose to leave WWE following WrestleMania as she grew tired of playing second fiddle to a nobody like Bayley, and that could have drawn her great heel heat as well.

#1 The promo should have been interrupted by Becky Lynch

Sasha Banks' return to WWE TV is leading up to her Raw Women's title match against Becky Lynch at Clash of Champions, however, a sidebar feud is also in play featuring Sasha Banks vs Natalya.

The feud, however, has been largely one-sided in favor of Sasha Banks, who has repeatedly left Natalya laying after numerous beatdowns on Monday Night Raw.

Natalya's role on WWE TV has been odd in recent months, as she has flip-flopped from being a babyface to a heel when feuding with Becky Lynch, and now it appears as if she is a babyface once again?

Not much of it has worked, however, as fans appear to be growing tired of Natalya invoking the memory of her father's passing to draw sympathy and heel heat, and Sasha Banks beating Natalya down every week on Raw is doing little to serve the bigger picture of Banks vs Lynch.

Banks' promo on WWE Raw this week should have been cut short by Becky Lynch, who the fans were chanting for, instead of Natalya, as it would have offered more build-up to the title match at Clash of Champions.
