But the former commissioner of SmackDown Live replaced an injured Miz in the final to take on Dolph Ziggler.

Shane McMahon's triumph in Riyadh kick-started his hot run and has been running strong to date! He has received a lot of TV time ever since, and even went on to win SmackDown Tag Team Championship with The Miz. The two later broke up and feuded for a considerable amount of time.

Shane-o-Mac has been a regular staple of the show, which is why the company should step up a notch and give the SmackDown Live's former commissioner an opportunity at the World Championship belt.

It will blend perfectly with Shane McMahon's current successful run and give the company a lot of opportunities to brew fresh story lines for the "Best in the World".
