#2 Ronda saves face

WWE isn't going to compromise the credibility of their biggest superstar
WWE isn't going to compromise the credibility of their biggest superstar

Ronda Rousey is the biggest superstar on Raw today, and while Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Seth Rollins may rule the roost on Raw, Rousey's star power is undeniable, which is why WWE brought her into the company in the first place.

And for all the faults WWE fans find with the baddest woman in sports, she is a great wrestler that manages to keep fans entertained when she is in the ring. But it seems that praise is not enough to keep Rousey in the business, as rumors have been flying around that Rousey plans to leave WWE after WrestleMania 35 to concentrate on her personal life, which leaves WWE in a dilemma.

This one superstar they have built up as an unbeatable badass may suddenly leave the company, so it leaves a big hole in the women's division, and who could fill that gap? Well, it seems no one can, as Rousey is just that big of a star, so this entire angle with her dropping her title could be WWE's way of letting her step away from the company quietly.

Rousey dropping her title means that she probably won't be pinned at WrestleMania, which means her credibility is saved if she does return to the company. Charlotte, on the other hand, can afford to take the loss at the event, as Becky becoming champion will be a cheered decision by fans no matter who she pins.
