Roode has lost out massively in the crowded Raw roster

Remember Bobby Roode? A former champion in TNA, a former NXT Champion, a title which he won against none other than Shinsuke Nakamura, a former US Champion as well to add to that resume. The glorious one, as he likes to call himself. Remember him? He's the current Raw tag team Champion as well. But if you think about it, he's hardly visible in WWE.

Everything seemed like it was going perfectly for him, he was brought to the SmackDown roster with genuine fanfare and he was slowly climbing up the ladder as he won the US Championship as well. But ever since his switch to Raw, he been put under a cloak of invisibility as he is hardly there anymore. He has been put in a makeshift tag team with Chad Gable and they won the Tag Team Titles. But one glance at the way things have been and you realize that the team is hardly visible.

For someone like Bobby Roode, who seems to have been lost out in the crowded roster at WWE and has a pretty impressive resume, a place like AEW makes a lot of sense. Moving to such a place could indeed provide him with the opportunity to have a lot more success than what he is probably going to get at WWE.
