#2 Rusev

Even though he was given the infamous foreign heel gimmick upon his arrival, Rusev did a great job portraying the role. He was the ideal tough guy the WWE needed and it is safe to say that the WWE has done a very good job in soiling all the momentum he had during his initial stage. The fact that a person like Rusev, who was kicking around superstars like Roman Reigns has now been pushed to a lower mid-card level is nothing but a shame.
The Rusev Day gimmick may be doing some good for the 'Bulgarian Brute' for now but if we look into it as a long-term perspective, it might not be as beneficial as it looks.

If the same trend continues throughout the year and WWE does not find a fitting storyline for Rusev, it is almost inevitable that he will never become a world champion in the WWE.
