For the last year or so, Charlotte has been a babyface and it isn't working. Charlotte's best work is as a heel and it shows.
Charlotte's feud with Sasha Banks from a few years ago shows why she does better as a bad guy. She has more to go on with the heel persona than a face anyway. It's easier to rub it into someone's face that she's Ric Flairs daughter and she's the women's divisions equivalent to Ric Flair. She broke Asuka's undefeated streak and we are supposed to like her for that?
The way she comes to the ring can be better shown as a heel. She looks down on others and shows why she is better. She's great in the ring and is much better working as a heel than a face. Charlotte can even set up a stable with the likes of the Iconics or Mandy Rose/Sonya Deville to help out with matches. There's more to go on with the bad guy side than good.
