#3 Shinsuke Nakamura
2017 was not a good year for Shinsuke Nakamura on the main roster. Many thought that he would carry forward his NXT run to the main roster. However, what we witnessed were meaningless feuds and a failed attempt at holding the WWE Championship.
2018 started with a roller-coaster ride for him. He won the Royal Rumble only to lose the WrestleMania 'Dream Match' against AJ Styles. Nonetheless, the aftermath saw him turning heel as he gave a vicious low blow and a Kinshasha to 'The Phenomenal One.'
His main roster face run was dry and halted abruptly. If WWE wants his heel run to be a compelling one, then it should begin with a memorable championship reign.
