4 Superstars who will benefit from the Superstar Shakeup (and 3 who won't)
2019's edition of the Superstar Shakeup is finally behind us. This year, the event didn't last two nights and trading between the two brands continued until this week. It's still not clear whether WWE plans on making more changes to the Raw and Smackdown Live roster or not. However, one thing is for clear that we are about to witness some fresh feuds and matches over the next few months.
After every Shakeup, some Superstars rise to prominence on the new brand, such as The New Day and Jinder Mahal in 2017. On the other hand, there are several Superstars who don't get that lucky, like Bray Wyatt in 2017 and Kevin Owens in 2018.
That being said, this year will not be much different either, in regards to the above mentioned claims. Some Superstars will be treated better on the new brands while some will get pushed down the card.
With Top Superstars such as Roman Reigns, AJ Styles and Finn Balor now wrestling on different brands after almost 3 years, it will be interesting to see how the landscape of WWE changes. With dozens of talented Superstars across Raw and Smackdown Live, only a few will get to stay in the spotlight.
So, without any further ado, here are 4 Superstars/Teams that will Benefit from this year's Shakeup and 3 that won't.
#7 The Usos (Will Benefit):
The Usos were drafted to Smackdown Live in 2016's inaugural Superstar Shakeup. On the blue brand, Jimmy and Jey have always remained a prominent part of the Tag Team Division.
In less than 3 years, the duo captured the Smackdown Tag Team Championship on 4 different occasions. After dropping the titles to The Hardy Boyz on the post-Wrestlemania 35 edition of Smackdown Live, The Usos moved to Raw the following week.
They had a dominant debut on the Red Brand, where they picked up a win over former Raw Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode and Chad Gable. They are now set to feud with the Revival for the next few weeks, after which they will most probably enter the Title picture.
The Usos' presence on Raw can give Raw's Tag Team Division a huge boost, something it has been in need of since late last year. So, expect The Usos to receive a significant push from here on and be the core of Raw's Tag Team scene.
