Sami Zayn and Becky Lynch were one of the most popular pairs when the mixed tag teams who would take part in the event were announced. The duo had a lot of video segments, and the pairing seemed just perfect, as they had good chemistry.
However, the team crashed out in the first round as Team Little Big comfortably defeated them. Zayn moved to RAW in 2018, which almost guaranteed that the WWE Universe wouldn't get a chance to watch the two superstars team up once again in season II.
While Becky Lynch has been the best thing on SD Live since her heel turn, her absence from the inter gender tournament is quite surprising. However, the only reason behind her non-participation could be that the final of MMC-II is scheduled for TLC where Becky could be defending her SD Live Women's title.
