While the "Attitude Era" vs. current WWE roster idea might be the biggest show on this list in terms of overall star power, a WWE vs. NXT show would undoubtedly be the best show the company could do in terms of in-ring quality.

This idea would create a ton of intriguing, first-time-ever matches that would definitely deliver in the ring, however, the only downside of this idea is that it would be the main roster vs. what they consider to be their minor league system, so there's a good chance that they'd portray the NXT roster as not being on the same level as the main roster.

The upside to this idea is that, even if WWE's main roster ended up winning most of the matches, it'd give company management a chance to see how their biggest developmental stars are able to respond to the pressure of performing in front of a larger audience, against a main roster star, on a WWE pay-per-view. To sum it up, it'd give WWE a better idea of what to expect from some of their potential call-ups.

Also, you can put a stipulation in all of the matches where if an NXT star beats a main roster star, then they'll earn a spot on the main roster immediately, which would definitely add intrigue to every match.
