The two have history going way back to the early 2000's. Reportedly, they are very close backstage. This could be the culmination of two professional wrestling careers.

They battled most recently on October 3 2015 at the Madison Square Garden network special where Big Show was defeated in a short encounter.

The match between them has to be carried by emotions and storytelling rather than profound in-ring work. It could be set up either at SummerSlam, or at the Raw after The Biggest Party of the Summer.
