4 things WWE subtly told us on SmackDown Live (4 December 2018)

A new SmackDown is on the horizon
A new SmackDown is on the horizon

WWE SmackDown Live was brought to us from Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, and it had a mix of highs and lows. From the opening segment involving Becky Lynch, Asuka, and Charlotte Flair to the ending segment with Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles, things looked good for the blue brand.

The Miz TV segment was filled with some amazing moments, and now it seems the company is heading towards a triple threat angle or some angle involving Shane McMahon. While it has been rumored that The Miz will turn babyface, he is good as a heel.

Samoa Joe has been on a roll as of late, and the performer will definitely be worthy of the Superstar of the Year Slammy. His work with AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy has been impeccable. It needs to be seen where this story is headed, as WWE TLC comes close.

With that in mind, lets take a look at 4 things the company told us subtly on SmackDown Live.

#4 Sonya Deville will be challenging for the gold soon

It seems like Sonya Deville has her jobber days behind her, and we may see her make a move up the ladder
It seems like Sonya Deville has her jobber days behind her, and we may see her make a move up the ladder

We all may be perplexed with the way Sonya Deville has been pushed over the last two weeks. After being the runner-up in the battle royal which happened last week, to the pinfall win over Charlotte Flair this week, the former mixed martial artist has been on a roll lately.

It is also a possibility that she would break with Mandy Rose down the road to pursue a singles opportunity, or become the first tag team champion for the blue brand.

Either way, it seems like Sonya Deville has her jobber days behind her, and we may see her make a move up the ladder.

#3 The Usos will challenge for the tag team championship

Welcome to The Uso Penitentiary!
Welcome to The Uso Penitentiary!

The Usos are the best tag team on Tuesday nights. They have been great on the mic and were phenomenal as the tag team champions. The feud between them and The New Day was the talk of the town during the former's reign, but ever since the titles have changed hands, it seems like they have gone downhill.

While Sheamus and Cesaro are talented and possess a lot of skills, they aren't as impressive as The Usos, and this week's win by Jey Uso confirms that the Samoans will be challenging the reigning tag team champions down the road.

This would be a great way to give the team with the skills a chance at the titles they made relevant on Tuesday nights, and if they win at WWE TLC, it would be a great idea.

#2 Samoa Joe will pick a win over Jeff Hardy

Enigmatic Destroyer!
Enigmatic Destroyer!

Jeff Hardy is a veteran in the WWE, and the man is known for his skills inside the ring. The performer has had some grueling matches over the 2 decade-long career, and he is still ready to fight anyone ready to step up to the plate.

Samoa Joe is the recent member of the SmackDown Live roster who has stepped up to challenge 'The Charismatic Enigma', and it seems like he would be proving his worth against Jeff Hardy.

The Samoan has been impressive in his work, and has cut amazing promos over the weeks. His work has been great during the feud with AJ Styles, and it seems to be getting better with every passing day.

If Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy decide to fight at WWE TLC, we can expect carnage all along, and entertainment as well as daredevil acts of an unparalleled level.

#1 The Miz will be a part of the WWE Championship storyline

Awe-some!
Awe-some!

The Miz is a master in the ring and on the mic, and he has proven the same over the years. It is his amazing promo skills which have garnered him the most accolades, and he is also one of the most sought-after superstars in the WWE.

The wrestler has been in some amazing storylines, and it seemed like he would be involved in a feud with Daniel Bryan after the former leader of Yes Movement returned to WWE programming as a babyface.

When 'The Beard' turned heel, it was speculated that 'The Awesome' wrestler would turn babyface, and the same was demonstrated in a dark match that happened last week, but it seems like the company will involve him in the storyline around the WWE Championship, with AJ Styles being the only babyface.

This feud with the inclusion of The Miz will be a 'Must-See'.
